This is a classically popular yoga pose. The second in the Warrior series, it represents a warrior looking beyond to an impending battle ahead. The flow of energy from your dynamic back leg and up through you back arm is very energizing. It is challenging to stay in the pose for an extended length of time, relying on the strength of your legs.
